I have just started with the theme and the first thing that I did was update the modules that come packaged with the theme. However, this seems to be causing trouble and I have resolved some of the issues by reinstalling some of the packaged modules. This does not seem like the ideal solution though for security reasons.
Is there any possibility of an update for the theme being released that is compatible with the latest versions of the prepackaged modules?
Some of the problems I have not yet resolved:
When uploading images there are no options for destination, and when I click next it says "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator."

I have removed the drupal install completely and reinstalled. After that all I have done is update the modules and add two team members to illustrate some of the problems I have already run into.
Problems I have noticed so far (may not be comprehensive):
These errors on the home page:

Only 5 team members are showing
There is no pagination
The height of the team members are not uniform depending on the length of the team member's name and position
I have previously resolved some of these problems myself, but I think that it is better if an official fix was released so that I don't have to hack at these problems and so that other people who download the theme can benefit from the fixes aswell.
I am sending you the access to my server right now, although you should be able to easily replicate these problems with a fresh install and update.

About --> The Team: Please go to http://bitemiami.com/admin/structure/views/view/the_team/edit. pager is now set 5. You can change. For the best display, you should crop the images: 245x381 or 249x388

If you want team items share the same size, you have to configure css because the description of each member is not so long as others (1 line - 2 lines ...- 5 lines). Please tell us which member is criteria, will will configure other members
To trigger the bug in portfolio you have to actually upload a thumbnail. After uploading and clicking next, the destination screen will pop up...

What was the cause of the problem?

The problem might be because of your server permission.
We just change widget type of the image field.
There has been no customers reporting this problem so far and it also does not occur with our demo
