I use the MDST theme for showcasing videos I have made. When I use the portfolio fullscreen option it stretches the video container out in width but doesn't adjust the height. This creates an odd effect. Is there some CSS or trick I can use to stretch it in both directions to maintain a 16x9 ratio?

I tried fitvid but no matter what I did I couldn't make that plugin work.
