Module is missing from the file system: mdthenews

I'm getting the following error in Admin > Reports > Status report:

"User warning: The following module is missing from the file system: mdthenews. For information about how to fix this, see the documentation page. in _drupal_trigger_error_with_delayed_logging() (line 1138 of /my-website.com/includes/bootstrap.inc)."

What's missing here?

Hi,

Because you just updated latest Drupal Core so problem occurs. Pleaseownload module https://www.drupal.org/project/module_missing_message_fixer, install ithen go to configuration of module to remove all errors. 

Note: remember to backup database + source code before doing any thing
