Update Drupal Core to 7.41

Hi folks - I have successfully installed Boom on Drupal 7.38 with the demo data to have a quick start, which works awesome.

Now - of course - the system shows the update for drupal 7.41. I tried to update, but messed up the Boom configuration, so got an instable website.

Question: How do I update from 7.38 to 7.41? Is there a step-by-step instruction for Boom users?

I have seen, that it is not sufficient just to follow the default update instructions from Drupal.

Any quick help is appreciated.

and we would like to recommend that you could update file setting.php at step 7 following realase note: https://www.drupal.org/drupal-7.40-release-notes.

If you changed/ Edited files robots.txt and .htacess in version 7.38, please save to update files in version 7.41
