On the "configure site" step of the install process it returns an error.
SQLSTATE[HY000] [2003] Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (61)
I have many other sites running locally so I know mysql is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My Steps:
-unzip md big stream profile
-copy into my devdesktop folder
-import local site into Acquia Dev Desktop
-type in user name and pass and click next

If your site is still in local, it is very difficult for us to find a solution to help you. Could you create a subdomain on your hosting for developing before you public site? Please send us your site url, admin and FTP accounts (forum link as well) to our support email: [email protected], then we will help you install theme.
On the other hand, you need to check if there is any problem in installing one drupal standar.
Thanks for getting back to me. I took your recommendation and set it up on my server. It worked there so consider this closed I will do my work there and clone it locally. Thanks!
