Webform and mail error - site cannor send email

Hi,

I have tested many settings and solutions, but the site does not send email in any way. Just for testing purposes I have installed a fresh drupal 7 test site with the same webform settings and the test site works, but not the site I have created from your setup.

Have also tested to "request a new password" on both the test site and the site I have built on your theme and setup. The testsite sends an email (with

SMTP Authentication Support module), but my Avendor site does not send an email when I request a new password.

Same setup an email on both sites, test-site works but not my Avendor site.

Really need the webform to work and the site is redy to go live, but the webform cannot send emails witch is very bad.

Error sending e-mail (from [email protected] to marten@silverbulletfilm

Here is my site:

Here is a sample webform:

Really need to get this working. I have built the site on your theme and drupal files and now all content is in the site and in the database som starting to rebuild the site is no option. I guess I should have tested the mail function from the beginning on the first install, but this has never been an isue on other sites I have built so I never thought about it.

Please take a look at this issue as soon as possible.

I can send you login to the site as well as webserver and database login, not a good idea to share it in this post.

Best regards

Mårten

Hi,

You do not have to use SMTP. As default, Webform uses function mail() in PHP.

So, please ask your hosting provider if your server supports this function or not?

Have solved this issue by enabling the module "Simplenews" which is located in the "Mail" group in the module list. Did not think this module was needed, but I guess I was wrong.

PHP mail() function is not supported by my hosting provider but with "SMTP Authorisation Support" module the mail function works.

Thanks for your quick response.
