I found the options preloader and switched is off.
It seems to speed up page switches?
What are the advantages/disadvantages to use it?

Hi,
Removing preloader does not speed up page switches
If you use preloader, your site/page will display beautifully and fully after loading preloader (all css, html, images, videos... will be loaded)
If you do not use preloader, you will visualy see the loading of css => the site looks broken before completely loaded
