It can not be removed in configuration. If you would like, please go to folder awecontent-templates(sites\all\themes\md_alpine).
In http://files.megadrupal.com/forum/1364/md_alpine2.png, please remove folder PORTFOLIO then in file awecontent_templates.inc, remove code section of PORTFOLIO.

We only need to hover on a section then click "bin" icon on the left bar to delete.

I just want you to show me the way you mentioned in #23.
If you want to remove template Porfolio so you follow #23 but if you only want to remove section portfolio in homepage, you just need to remove section in awecontent by hovering on it then click delete icon.

Can you please try to install new profile theme on your server? If there is same problem as current site, please notify us.
The main menu has problem with your hosting. Do not know why but we tested with several servers and localhost, the same problem did not appear. However, we created a new menu (you can see it in /structure/menu "Main menu fix"). Please use that menu instead of default main menu, page will be saved normally.
Note: in node/45, we replaced main menu with "main menu fix" already.
