Which version of the "Media" module Mega Slider needs?

Hi
I have some trouble facing the famous issue of "Media" and "File Entity" modules.
If you are not aware about it, I suggest to read one of the dozen of articles about this issue: http://cms.about.com/od/drupal-modules/a/The-Drupal-Module-That-Would-No...
As far as I get into this mess, I was forced to disable "Media" and I'm trying to reinstall it, but I can not remember which release should I use.
Mega Slider is not present into the Drupal Module repository, at least I was not able to find it.
So any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Renato

Hi, About Media module (https://www.drupal.org/project/media) you can use version 1.4 or 2.0-alpha3. If you use version 2.0-alpha3, you need to install the module File Entity (https://www.drupal.org/project/file_entity) version 2.0-alpha3 Regards,

Hey Cindy,

I was having some major issues with Media module 2.0-alpha3 and had to upgrade to 2.0-alpha4 to resolve. Is there an update for MD Slider / Mega Slider? At this point, I only get WSOD when trying to edit the MD Slider now.

I will send email to [email protected] if you can send me the latest version?

Thank you so much. LOVE THE ALPINE THEME.

Hi all,

The latest updated version of MD Slider 2.16 available on Codecanyon is now compatible with Media alpha 4
Please update

@Cthshabel,
Did you purchase our module MD Slider or our Alpine theme? Cause Alpine uses MD Fullscreen Slider, not MD Slider
We will update MD Fullscreen to be compatible with Media alpha 4 soon

Ah Cindy,

I did purchase the Alpine theme and it does use the MD Fullscreen Slider, not MD Slider. My mistake. Thank you for correcting me on that.

Do you have any projection for the Media alpha 4 update?

Thanks so much,

Steven

Will MD Slider 2.17 work with Media 1.5?  Do I need any other modules installed from the Media family to make it work (YouTube, File_Entity, etc.)? I'm having trouble adding text and images to the slides and my search for a solution lead me here.  I've seen in some of the other posts on this forum that updated/custom versions of some files need to be used if you're using Media 2.0-alpha4, but I'm not using it.  I have Media 1.5 installed.  Any advice you can give on the best versions of all the different modules needed (including jQuery version) would be most appreciated.

I'm having similar issues - after some adjustments getting media updated, and thumbnails working for the library module, MD Slider animations do not start, and images are not full width.  The text animations don't also seem to start until i click the slide's bullet... :(  Any hints/obvious mistakes with that?

Hm - after a quick thought - It might be worth noting - I updated JQuery (using jquery_update) to 2.1. (as a last ditch possibility to solve another problem with media etc) and reverting it to 1.11 fixed the issues.  This may/may not be something you might be interested in looking at for future module versions!  Sorry for hijacking this media thread with what turned out to be a jquery problem!
