When I upload an image to the slider, it crops the image one way. When it posts to the site, it crops a completely different way.

For example, I create an image with grid lines at 50px with the image being 450px tall. On the editor it shows it crops the bottom 200px. In the published slider, it crops 100px from the bottom and 100px from the top. This is very confusing. Am I doing something wrong?
