I updated the media module and file entity. The file entity is no longer inside of the media module.
Suggestions?
I uninstalled the required modules, moved the file_entity back into the media module and that did not help.

Which version of MegaSlider you are using?
7.x-2.19
I found the problem. The module HAS to be in the modules directory. It had been installed in a folder named premium.
modules->premium->md slider does not work.
modules->md slider works.
I uninstalled md slider, file entity and media module and moved them from the sub folders to the module folder. Once I put them all under modules everything worked.
