Stop slide from disappearing at the end

Hi there

i have a slideshow that has a single slide, i want text to appear on the slide, but when the slide reaches the end, it shoud 'freeze' there without disappearing, at the moment the text disappears when the slide has run its course.

How do i use the event callbacks to "freeze" the slide so that the text doesn't disappear?
