Sorry your inconvenience. It is our mistake in Md Portfolio documentation. We will fix it.
And the correct instruction is:
From the Dashbroad menu click on Structure and then click on View.
Click View
view name Portfolio (machine name will be auto generated)
Choose Show Content of type Portfolio (your content type name).
Give page title, and in
Display format
, choose MD - Style Portfolio. Choose fields instead of teaser
Click the button
Continue & edit
