Hi,
today I purchased and downloaded mega slider, and have spent the entire day searching why the thumbnail jpg files do not get created. I created a new slider, ticked the option for thumbnails, and uploaded images for the thumbnails, but when I run the slideshow on my site, there are little black crosses instead of thumbnail images.
Checking the html source of the output page, the names for the thumbnail files are there.
Checking for the file on the drupal server in the ./sites/default/files/styles directory, the subdirectory where the thumbnails are supposed to be does not exist (md_slider_1_thumb).
When I go into the images module administration tab, the style exists, and when I force an update, the directory on disk gets created, but still without any files in there.
I have tried upgrading/downgrading/reinstalling modules (media and file_entity), nothing helps.
This is a fresh drupal setup, with the latest downloaded sources from yesterday...
Any idea what is causing this?

2. I observed that the URL of image (imagecache path) is:
http%3A//mydomain... (seen using browser inspect element over slider bullets)

Hello, I have a similar problem. When I upload the thumbnail, the image is copied to the correct directory. However, when viewing the finished slide on the site, the thumbnail's path references another directory (/styles/slidername/public/). Does your patch also correct this?

Yes. Please update the latest version 2.16.
To maintain the thumbnail's size, thumbnails are created via Drupal's image style
Hello i have a problem with tumbnails , the mininiature path is not correct, i working with mamp for a local project.
for example ,the path is http://localhost:8888/crf/http%3A//localhost%3A8888/crf/sites/default/fi...
Is it possible to change the path? or correct the problem.
The version is -> 2.16 and drupal version is 7.34
