Our module does not fully support Css Sprites
You can try these instructions:
+backend : DO NOT set background color / background image at backend like this: http://prntscr.com/m0wpq6
+frontend: debug on your browser to find slider block id and class for each slide, then add custom css in your theme's file
ex: http://prntscr.com/m0wtmb
Note: The above guide will hepl you to see background at frontend, (see nothing at backend)
