Hi,
This is not error of megamenu. Please check:
+ path : /Applications/AMPPS/tmp
Is sthe path correct? does folder tmp exist?
+ Are you using php 7? We see many users having issue "Failed to write session data using user defined save handler." with php 7 and Symfony
+ Please try to delete browser cookie and session
I found out that error occurs when I place a google map inside the submenu region.
We have tried to add element google map in submenu region but do not see any error (Drupal 8.4.0 and bartik theme)
