I need to run on a secure domain but since applying the certificate the Google maps aren't showing.

I have only configured the map panel to show the appropriate map.
As you already saw, it displays perfectly well if served over http: It does not show serving over https: so I am not sure I understand your comment.
Maybe I am wrong but it seems obvious why the map is not showing from the errors in the browser console as per my original post?
It is not just the map that is not loading but also some of the fonts.
