After manual install on 2 (!) debian servers (a specialised server in germany and a standard debain8/LAMP) I get the same errors:
EDIT button comes up but AWE-content button does not - and the follewing errors

Update of drupal-version and modules:
A drush up updates all - but MD_slider MD_megamenu has to be held back - they can not get updates (but there is a update!!!)

Errors above often occur when user does not do setting theme. You can please go to theme settings and configure.
About drush, you can please download and update MD modules before then run drush up -y to update others.
"when user does not do setting theme" - what does that mean?
Where do you keep the updated modules - becose they are not found ind downloads!
Playing around with your theme suddetly errors over all!
I have only put in blocks deleted some and moved around with then (to access buttons - see below).
This is not working as it should.
The buttons on the theme when using AWE dissapear.
You have to move around og make NOT fluid to acces many. Other times it seams impossible.
When you get errorpages as above it makes the hole theme unusable.
Please fix!
If you need acces to the site I can send a mysql dumpfile and a gzip of the site.
I have used approx 20 hours on this - and it seems to be wasted :: I am in a hurry - else I would have made all from scratch with foundation or... But it has been a long time since so I thourgt this could be a way.
It seems not.

About error notice, in page awecontent, there are some empty sections or nonexiting blocks that need to be found and removed. Template awecontent was built base on profile however you install theme manually so some blocks do not exit.
You can please go to your account page (http://megadrupal.com/user/hansjh) to download and update MD modules.
I am having the same problem as above. I have lost all the content in the megamenu as far as objects when I went to the site and downloaded the mdclient and pulled down the latest megamenu and slider. I am in big trouble. What should I do? My content is still there I just cant edit it.

How did you update module? You can please send us your site admin account and FTP account by private comment so we can have a check.
Now using your theme to a production site - that will be replaced with a custom theme when possible.

error syb menu - white line occours sometimes - seams to to correlated to picture aspect ratio. Tests show that reinserting picture that worked before does NOT correct error.

I can not get pdfs properly into page via links - made a pdf field that works - but direct links to docs in libary does not work (framework displays page wiht link instead of pdf)

I have send info privately a couple of days ago - I REEALY need an update on my support questions.
The site is now unuseable - no submit-buttons after updates!
I Have updated theme to 2.4 and drupal security updates via drush - you have hard coded links within theme so you can not upgrade as usual! I now need two theme folders (the old one - and a new one - both are beeing used!
It is quite some mess - hopefully your overwriting procedure will work later.
Submit button found - it is renderd transparant with white text - in the TOP section.
I hopo you can fix theme and modules to work with updated d7.

On your version - where you have full acces (the upgrade to 2.4 made mad things - so theme folder is double)
I can give you a new version - just upgraded my own /beta and it works (with same errors) - if you want.
