Are there any tricks / special instructions on how to move a site using MDMegaMenu from one domain to another (e.g. from a development domain to a production domain) and have the megamenu work?
I backed up the site, restored it in the new location, but there the megamenu's top-level entries don't drop down and show as links like: www.mydomain.com/#

You just need to export the megamenu in the old site and then import it into the new site
Note: you have to change the machine name if there is any same name in the import process

It happened when viewing the menu after importing it. I later saw another support note reporting the same error from July 16, 2013, which does not include a solution.
I resolved my issue by dropping all tables and reimporting the backup of the original site. The menu then worked.
Thank you for your offer to assist, but it is no longer needed in my case.
I believe I have traced the original problem (menus not expanding) to a performance setting being enabled: "Aggregate JavaScript files. "
I am having this same issue, it is definitely happening when I have "Aggregate JavaScript files." enabled. Need this fixed aSAP!

Please try to clear cache first because as we can see from error message, when compressing Js, order of Js file was changed.
If it still does not work. please send us your site admin account and FTP account, we would like to have a check.
