You have 2 slides.
Slide 2 an image.
Slide 1 are some texts that show up from sec 2 up to sec 10 - and than to disappear. ( = 8 seconds total).
Slider is configured to pause on hover.
Problem is now - than when you hover slide 1 - it does pause the slide timer (so far so good) - but the texts are not paused.
This result in the following situation, that if you hover the 1st slide for 10 seconds, the text timeline is done - but the slider is (ofcourse) still paused - which result in an empty slider - what is nearly never the wanted effect i guess.
Therefor it would be nice to have an option to either loop slider items or pause those animations to - if the slider is paused.
Is there anything like that which i oversaw?

I am not very clear about your problem. However, we would like to give you some explaination as below:
Our latest version of MD Slider (2.19 for Drupal 7 and 1.0-Beta2 for Drupal 8) has these following setting features:
- Pause on hover: (pause all objects including text, image, video on slide and slide background when hover over the slide) => pause all
- Loop: make your slider loop - to continue play slider again when reach the last slide of slider
- Background setting: You must upload background image (choose Settings under the slide name) instead of adding an image and stretch it out to make it background to avoid blank space and no transition between slides
- Stop animation: You can set "None" if you want the element (text, image, video) to not disappear until the next slider

It is about the actuall version - which did NOT pause TEXT on hover -but only the slide image itself.
I`ll try that newest version - if it work like you mentioned - it should do the trick.

I just checked the version I have installed out - it is allready 7.x-2.19.
(It was a clean install - i did not upgrade to 7.x-2.19 - i directly installed that version (some days ago)),
But when I hover my slide that consist text (see attached image) over the slider image - only the image - not the text is paused on hovering.
