When I try to choose or change an image, nothing happen. Can't upload or choose any image. Just nothing happen.

Please try solutions at http://megadrupal.com/forum/module-support/mega-slider/1977. If it still does not work, please send us your site url, admin account and FTP account by private comment, we would like to have a check.
So,
Have you tried to configure file .htaccess to rewrite url? Slider does not update images because your site can not access url media/browser.
Please check configuration server or update to media 2.x (remeber to backup date database before).
