Drop down menus

Hello

I am using the md-wedding theme and wanted to have drop down menus similar to your demo webpage: http://demo.megadrupal.com/md-wedding

For example, you have four different menu items shown when I bring the mouse to the "Photo Albums" menu item. Did you have to install a new module to enable such a drop down sub menu?

On the site that I am developing, I listed some basic pages as sub menu items and then installed the "mega menu" module. I do not see any drop down from the main menu. What am I missing?

Thank you.

yes, We used superfish for dropdown menu.

You can install superfish and md_wedding_features-7.x-1.0.zip (download from your account files) to make dropdown menu working.

You can also view theme document here

Best regards

Thanks for the reply Neo.

I have superfish downloaded and enabled. But the sub menu still do not show up. Either I am missing some configuration setting, or superfish is conflicting with other modules, or I am doing something wrong with placing pasic pages into the sub menu.

I have uninstalled the megamenu module. And the only extra modules that I have on the site are webform, webform_conditional. On your demo page, what are the menu setting you used for your sub-pages?

Thank again.

OK .. I did some more figuring out. As per some online instructions I did the following:

1. Installed menu_expanded module

2. Turned off the main menu display from the md-wedding theme

3. Setup a new menu. With essentially the same links as main menu.

4. Placed the new menu in the "Superfish Menu" region under blocks.

5. Now, I see the superfish menu show up, with child links, but the display is wrong (incorrect fonts, the child is always shown, the parent does not show properly, etc.)

Any tips?

Please try to config your superfish block. On configuration page, choose style to "none". It'll show theme style.

Best regards

I have a D7 installation. And I have been unable to figure out how to choose style to "none". Can you please let me know the link where I can change the superfish block style to "none"?

you can go to Structure -> Blocks:

That was awesome. It works now! Thanks.

Previously i had selected superfish instead of "superfish 1" block, as suggested by your screen grabs. That was the root cause in my opinion.
