I have quite succesfully managed to set up my MD Visual theme, after a LOT of manual work (but that's another message another time). Now, I cannot manage to get the popular content views to work. (The other views work as expected.)
I have enabled the Statistics module in Core, and I have enabled "Enable access log" under Configuration >> Statistics >> Access log settings. The statistics reports seems to work fine.
My site has some test content for the appropriate content types, and not much else in terms of modules and other configuration. The preview for the "Popular content" views are always empty, it seems that some search fails. Further, on the "Popular today" page, I get the following error message:
'Exception: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1052 Column \'uid\' in field list is ambiguous'
Please point me in the proper direction. I have checked permissions and all seems to be OK there. I suspect that something goes wrong with the imported view code.

Hi Rick,
Please try to follow this:
1. Try to click on content link 2 or 3 times.
2. If it does not show popular content in views, please check Content: Type in Filter criteria on views popular edit page.

Nope, that didn't do the trick. The searches come out empty, so there is something fishy with the search terms and/or statistics
Moreover, the error message still appears! I think the error is for something different, as it complains about the database?
